Mountain View, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/01/2012 -- A frequent Australian Diver who survived an 18 foot hammerhead shark attack , unfortunately did not survive the “sharks” in the Hair Transplant Industry, who severely disfigured and scarred his head, his appearance, and adversely affected his life.
“DIVER” for most of his life has been snorkelling, spear fishing and scuba diving the deep Australian coastal waters and especially the Coral Sea, where he had a near fatal encounter with an 18 foot Hammerhead shark. The shark was aggressive and attempted several “test bites”, before it would come in for a fatal strike. Diver desperately defended himself with his spear gun, but knew it was only a matter of time. He miraculously was rescued by a passing boat which saw the circling aggressive shark.
As Diver says, “I’ve had many encounters with sharks, it’s no shock. But what really shocked me were the Hair Transplant Industry Sharks…that was a real shock! I didn’t see them coming. I thought my procedures were being done by caring Doctors, but I’d rather take my chances with the sharks “
These hair transplant procedures are still in use worldwide today and include STRIP EXCISION, FLAPS, and SCALP REDUCTION. The similarity with a shark feeding frenzy are so disturbing that Dr Woods made the parallel in his video presentation, and viewers are warned that the surgery scenes from other doctors are graphic.
The patient, named “ DIVER”, chose Dr Ray Woods to use his limited Body and Beard hair, as this was his last and ONLY resource and hope for a normal appearance. There was no room for error.
Dr Woods first invented, developed and performed FsUE (follicle “single” unit extraction) and BHT (Body hair to scalp transplant) in 1989. This was a world first breakthrough, and Dr Ray Woods is acknowledged world wide as the inventor and “father of FUE and BHT”
Still to this day Dr Ray Woods is considered the world’s leading and most experienced FUE and BHT hair transplant surgeon, and after multiple procedures, transformed DIVERS disfigurement and terrible scarring into a normal appearance with excellent hair growth.
As DIVER said, “I’m overwhelmingly happy with the results…I’m repaired, and I look good…thank goodness for Dr Ray”
