Slim New Vinsic Alien Power Charger Packs a Punch

Chinese gadget charger specialist Vinsic has changed the way we look at gadgets with the release of a 20000mAH powerbank barely thicker than the latest Samsung Galaxy

Guangdong, China -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/01/2015 -- The days of wondering whether devices will last the weekend are over thanks to the 20000mAH Vinsic Alien power bank, a portable charger barely thicker than the latest Samsung Galaxy.

APPLE may be trying to get fuel cell batteries to grant its devices days of life but one Chinese - born Alien could have beat them to the punch already.

Chinese electronics retailer Vinsic recently released the Vinsic Alien, a 20000mAh power bank it says provides world-beating charging capabilities in a tiny tiny case.

Trying to keep your gadgets charged through to the end of the day has always been a challenge, especially when displays are larger, processors are more powerful data cheaper and multitasking more common.

While mobile phones and tablets like the iPad Pro, iPhone 6 and Galaxy Note may claim to keep going for 10 hours or more they are capable of much less in real life situations.

As a result Apple is working on fuel cells technology which they claim would create a device capable of running weeks rather than days and claims this will do away with the need for power banks and other portable chargers.

Chinese electronics retailer Vinsic believes it is already capable of providing the charge required by an as yet undeveloped technology with its already available Alien 20000mAh power bank.

Capable of recharging an iPhone 6 more than seven times before needing to go anywhere near a wall outlet means people can go on weekend camping trips secure in the knowledge their devices will always have a charge.

Powered by a Lithium Polimer battery the Alien portable charger holds 20000mAh which it is able to decant to two devices at once through two full-sized USB slots.

With a digital display at bottom of the battery pack there is no danger of this portable battery charger unexpectedly running out of juice before the devices in question have charged with large numbers displaying exactly how much power is left in the battery.

At 12mm thick and half the size of an iPad Mini Vinsic spokesperson Gareth Gillatt says the Alien power bank can easily fit into the smallest of spaces.

Gareth Gillatt says its single piece high grade aluminum body of the power pack also means it can withstand any damage being thrown its way and come out looking new.

"These devices have to survive real world conditions because that is where they will be used."

"This is a power bank that will live unnoticed in the front pocket of a backpack waiting for the moment when essential devices die."

Company real world tests have shown the pack can be completely charged in just 12 hours says Gareth Gillatt before taking no longer than one hour and 45 minutes to charge a Note 4 and iPad Mini from empty simultaneously. "Testers have raved about this unit."
