Now, the organization is preparing to welcome ESPN National Correspondent Sal Paolantonio to their Ballroom on Thursday, October 18th from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Mr. Paolantonio has a storied history as a sports journalist, beginning as a political and sports beat reporter at the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper in the early 1990s. Since then, he has won an Emmy award, authored four books, and remains a mainstay as an ESPN commentator and host of the channel's weekly sports program NFL Matchup Show.
The Philadelphia Eagles' correspondent comes to Spring Mill Country Club for a Q&A session with attendees at the club. Mr. Paolantonio has recently released his fourth and newest book, Philly Special: The Inside Story of How the Philadelphia Eagles Won Their First Super Bowl Championship, which he will be signing copies of during the evening.
The book recounts the improbable championship season of the Eagles, including an insider's account, in-depth interviews, and insight into the team's dynamic on and off the field. It derives its title from a special Eagles play called the "Philly Special," which is a trick play they utilized to cement their lead and ultimate win during Super Bowl LII.
This very special event at Spring Mill Country Club takes place in the club's Ballroom on Thursday, October 18th, from 6 PM to 7 PM. There is a fee of $30 plus tax which includes a signed book, photo, and Q&A session with Mr. Paolantonio.
