Stars of MTV Come Together to Launch Exciting Webseries Twisted Mines

Based in Michigan, this dramedy consists of a young dancer on house arrest, when he, his friends, and his family come across dramatic lifetime experiences.


Detroit, MI -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/29/2015 -- A new webseries trailer will air on Monday, September 28, 2015, for an exciting new dramedy called Twisted Mines. The new show is based in Michigan, where it follows the story of a young dancer called Omari who is under house arrest, when he, his friends, and his family comes across dramatic lifetime experiences.

Omari (MTV's Kenneth Strong of Collzion Crew) life is very complicated. He wants to get his life back in order and get his life back on the right track, but he finds that a challenge. The dancer falls in love with his social worker, Kyra (played by Erika Coleman). However, he is already in a relationship with a high maintenance-demanding girlfriend. Omari, who lives with his female cousin and her cheating drug dealer boyfriend, belongs in the world that is full of drama, excitement, love, and cheating.

The creator of Twisted Mines Jonathan K. Carter said: "Twisted Mines" came about from just free writing. I wrote a skit about my life. More of relationship issues I dealt with in the past."

Jonathan explained that after watching the movie "Crash" and watching R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" videos he decided to walk in the same path. By giving some comedy and drama combined with a twist is how "Twisted Mines" came about.

The webseries has been described as a must watch. It brings the life of the street with its drama to the audience. Twisted Mines will get people hooked from day one, with the twist and turns and the drama that unfolds in each episode.
