With a wide portfolio comprised of brands that enjoy good and solid brand recognition from consumers, it is not surprising that L'Oreal maintained its leadership. The company invests heavily in promotions with in-store advertisements, such as separate stands for its lines in the stores, posters in pharmacies and with advertising in women's and/or health magazines. The company's pharmacy brands (Vichy Capital Soleil and La Roche-Posay Anthelios) are also frequently prescribed and suggested by dermatologists and pharmacists for sun protection.
