In 2004, at the young age of 26, Chris Wark was diagnosed with Stage IIIC Colorectal Cancer. Doctors removed a large tumor and approximately 30% of his colon. Surprisingly, the 5-year relative survival rate for this stage of this cancer, with full conventional treatment, is only about 53%.

Chris couldn't accept that prognosis and decided to take his health back into his own hands. He chose to decline chemotherapy and instead explored and adopted a variety of integrative and lifestyle interventions.
