The Isabella Santos Foundation 9th Annual Fun Run Is Taking Place in September 2016

 

Waxhaw, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/08/2016 -- The Isabella Santos Foundation is holding their 9th Annual Fun Run on Saturday, September 24th, 2016. This event will be held at Ballantyne Corporate Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. People from around the area are looking forward to this race in memory of Isabella Santos to show support children who are battling or have battled cancer. Registration is now open for runners who'd like to participate in the race and also for phantom runners who donate to the mission of this children's cancer foundation.

The Annual Fun Run by the Isabella Santos Foundation is becoming more popular with each passing year. Its reach continues to spread throughout Charlotte, NC and beyond, with participants and donations coming in from all over. Last year, the run had over 2,000 participants, and the Foundation raised more than $350,000 for Neuroblastoma research. This family-friendly race provides fun for everyone, including those who don't consider themselves runners. The races include a 5K and a 10K for Kids Cancer and also a one-mile Fun Run. They will also have a Kids Zone to keep the little ones busy and a raffle and silent auction.

Those looking for local 5K runs in Charlotte, NC, do not have to look any further than this fun event. The Isabella Santos Foundation also has other activities to look forward to once the Fun Run ends. These include the Coffee for a Cure event and also the Annual Blood Drive.
