This past February, the String Band Association paraded down Manayunk's Main Street while onlookers watched and danced along. Some of the Mummers String Bands that performed included the Woodland String Band, the Trilby String Band, the Quaker City String Band, the South Philadelphia String Band, and many more popular bands.
