Media, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/17/2017 -- The Radio Agency has named longtime radio marketing veteran Barbra Tabnick as its new President. Ms. Tabnick will guide and oversee operations at this specialized, national advertising agency which focuses exclusively on the creation, planning and placement of radio advertising on the four marketing platforms of radio: AM/FM, SiriusXM, Streaming (Pandora ads) and Podcasts.
Ms. Tabnick ascends to the role of President from her position as VP/ Client Services at the branding and direct response radio advertising agency.
"I'm grateful for this opportunity to help our clients grow leveraging the powerful marketing assets of radio," said Ms. Tabnick. "In today's ever-changing marketplace, we will work tirelessly to identify and implement radio's newest opportunities that can benefit our clients."
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Philadelphia University, Barbra began working for The Radio Agency in September of 1999 as a Promotions Manager. She assisted in creating and executing national and regional radio promotions for brands such as Frito Lay, Arnold Bread, Food Network, Twentieth Television, History Channel, and Sony PlayStation.
Her passion for and pride in her work enabled her to retain clients and build new positive business relationships. She then started to participate in the advertising side of The Radio Agency's business. Working with their exceptional team, she directed campaigns that expanded her expertise in media planning, buying and optimization.
Her hard work continued to pay off in 2011, when she was promoted to Senior Marketing Strategist. This new position allowed her to flourish, working in two areas she truly enjoys, business development and account management at a time when new radio marketing tools like streaming and podcasts were becoming powerful advertising platforms.
Barbra was promoted again in 2013 to VP, Account Services, involving her in every phase of client campaigns from start to finish. Four years later, she ascends to the role of President.
"I am thrilled for Barbra and excited for the agency," said Mark Lipsky, CEO of The Radio Agency. "Her vision, industry knowledge and tenacious work ethic make her the natural leader of our agency."
Lipsky relinquishes the title of President and transitions to a dual role as CEO and Creative Director.
