The Talking Dead - Challenged America, a Sailing Program for Disabled Veterans

Learn how this brave soldier went from blind and in a fatal coma to President of the Disabled Businessman's Association, and co-founder of Challenged America, a sailing program for disabled veterans.

Phoenix, AZ -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/05/2017 -- How does one go from zipped up in a body bag in Vietnam to helping Congress right the Americans with Disabilities Act?

He went from losing his site to a diabetic, in the middle of a firefight in Vietnam to be one of the most active and accomplished members of the business and activist community of America. It was his strong will to live that had his pulse pounding right out of the body bag saying, "Let me out of here. I have things to do," that got him where he is today.

Sure blindness is an obstacle, but it's not the only one. He's also hearing impaired, had a stroke, had his thyroid removed, I can you transplant, problems with digestion, balance, and is considered a walking paraplegic because of nerve damage in his legs.

He's often quoted as saying, "that's one advantage of working with the disabled. There's always someone who's worse off than you." However if you walk past Urban on the street, you won't notice that he has any problems – your guide dog and no white cane. Can you take one of his classes you will watch him right in the blackboard neater than any seasoned professor, and when he talks to you he looks right at you and follows every word.

What motivates someone to work that hard to become that accomplished and what keeps him going day after day? Tune in to the DrRed Says show and find out. You can call him and ask him yourself. This is an interview you will not forget.

Full of insight and humor, the extraordinary gentlemen who claims that he really does enjoy meeting the ladies by Braille will entertain, educate, and amaze with a you with a look into the world of the otherwise-abled among us.
