Leeds, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/17/2016 -- The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College are set to head to Barbados to implement the 3rd instalment of The Provision Project – A OAS-funded hydroponics project which has already proved to be a success for around eight years. This instalment will include project leader Dr. Leighton Naraine and technical expert Stuart LaPlace training communities regarding the hydroponics model which has been created and a number of university professors will also be present.
The hydroponics model created is going to be replicated in five Caribbean countries; Guyana, Barbados, Nevis, Trinidad and Haiti to enable all to eat well regarding the terrible effects of climate change and other things. The first implementation took place in Guyana last year and in April this year Nevis saw their first water-based agriculture system which allows for more crops to be grown efficiently.
Leeds Hydro Store a UK based hydroponics supplier was keen to comment saying, "The Provision Project is a great project, one in which will help a huge amount of individuals and we fully support that. It is great to see more and more people reaping the benefits of hydroponic growing but also to see people passing on their hydroponic knowledge and helping others amazingly."
