Nelson has been awarded with Utah's BEST of STATE 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012.  He has practiced in Salt Lake City since January 2003.  Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Dr. Nelson completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah in 1998. He studied dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, graduating as a Doctor of Dental Surgery with Cum Laude Honors in 2001, and received an advanced degree in General Dentistry in 2002. He has completed post graduate advanced education in Full Mouth Reconstruction and Comprehensive Aesthetics at UNLV.  Of the well over 150,000 practicing dentists in the United States, Dr. Nelson is one of only a handful who have attained this level of achievement.  He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Utah Dental Association, and Salt Lake District Dental Society.

Dr. Nelson and his team are committed to continuing education. The entire staff takes over 400 hours of CE each year.  Dr. Nelson has spent thousands of hours in seminars, study clubs, and other continuing education courses to stay cutting edge on advances in the field.  In fact, Dr. Nelson averages 9 weeks of outside continuing education each year.  The State of Utah only requires 2 days per year to maintain a dental license. That's 20+ times per year more than the education an average dentist will take. Spa Reservations
Spa treatments are available to guests age 18 and over. We encourage you to book spa appointments as far in advance as possible.  Weekends tend to book out 1-2 months in advance.  Please be sure to inform the Spa Director of any medical conditions or other special needs that require our attention so we may ensure your experience is a pleasant one. All services and service charge must be paid for in full at the time of reservation/appointment.

Gratuity & Service Fee
A 20% service charge will be automatically added to all services and packages based on our full retail menu prices. This service fee is allocated to the facility, laundry, and spa staff members who serve you for your duration at The Spa. Please feel free to make an additional gratuity based on the service that you experienced. Gift certificates do not include gratuity or service fee unless noted otherwise.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
We request cancellation notification 48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment to avoid loss of your certificate or deposit. No-show appointments will be charged the full value of the service, plus the gratuity and service fee.

Arrival
We invite you to check in 10 minutes prior to your scheduled spa service so that you can relax in our relaxation suite, and prepare for your treatment. To ensure that all guests receive their full treatment, late arrivals will end at the scheduled time.

Spa Attire
Complimentary use of spa robes, and slippers  is provided for all spa guests. Our staff is professionally trained in proper draping designed to ensure modesty and comfort throughout the treatments. While many of our guests prefer to fully undress for their treatments, guests may opt to wear undergarments and disposable undergarments are also available upon request. The Spa provides a luxurious array of personal care products for your complimentary use.
