In 2013, toilet care remained dominated by SC Johnson & Son Inc (Philippines), accounting for 52% value share. Interestingly, it remains the only visible player in in-cistern devices and rim blocks, as well as the top player in toilet liquids, with its brand Duck. In second place was another multinational player, Reckitt Benckiser (Philippines) Inc, with its Lysol brand of toilet liquids.

Industry Prospects:

Whereas toilet care seemed to have a relatively bleak performance in the review period, constant value CAGR is pegged at 2%. The continually improving economy in 2012-2013, which positively affected other home care products first, is expected to spill over to toilet care during the forecast years.
