The conference was well-attended by major global food manufacturers and suppliers. Expert speakers presented on a variety of relevant topics. At the dinner event, the featured speaker was Antonio Gallegos of Greenberg Traurig LLP, who spoke on consumer-driven labeling concerns. Gallegos addressed consumer lawsuits for false and misleading labeling. The presentation provided an overview of the most common types of claims and tips for mitigating the risk for product labeling and advertising.
