The Rhinoplasty Society Annual Meeting 2016 was held on Saturday, April 2nd, and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery's (ASAPS) The Aesthetic Meeting 2016 was held from Saturday, April 2nd to Thursday, April 7th.

As Vice President of The Rhinoplasty Society, Dr. Sajjadian acted as the chairman of the daylong "Mastery of Rhinoplasty Symposium" on Sunday, which discussed the refinement of primary rhinoplasty techniques and introduced approaches to common secondary problems. The Rhinoplasty Society members presented on a region-by-region approach to the nose as well as topics including ethnic rhinoplasty variations, functional considerations and recognition and how to best help patients achieve natural looking results. The presenters also revealed their philosophies, nuances and principles and played short videos of common techniques and maneuvers in primary and secondary rhinoplasty.

On Tuesday, Dr. Sajjadian taught an advanced course titled "Mastery of Multiple Advanced Techniques and Nasal Profiles in SeptoRhinoplasty Including the Difficult Rhinoplasty". The course explored a more in-depth evaluation of open and closed rhinoplasty as well as how to detect and treat basic complications. Dr. Sajjadian demonstrated how to show mastery of the nasal tip, including domal sutures, grafts, tip ptosis, ultraprojecting tip, boxy tip, bulbous tip and tip asymmetry. Dr. Sajjadian also discussed the steps involved for a successful septorhinoplasty and how to take on the difficult rhinoplasty.

Recognized widely for his expertise in rhinoplasty, Dr. Sajjadian was honored to have the opportunity to educate fellow surgeons on the procedure at both The Rhinoplasty Society Annual Meeting and The Aesthetic Meeting.
