Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/08/2014 -- Shalane Flanagan and Dathan Ritzenhein will lead the US Squad at the next Boston Marathon. The team of runners will also include Olympic runners Desiree Davila Linden and Meb Keflezighi.

Flanagan is from Marblehead, Massachusetts and placed fourth in the Boston Marathon last year. It will be Ritzenhein’s first time running the Bostin race. Ritzenhein’s coach, Alberto Slazar won the Boston Marathon in 1982.

Other American’s running the race will be Adrianna Nelson, who finished in the top of runners in the 2013 New York City Marathon and Jeff Eggleston, at top US finisher at the 2013 World Championships Marathon.
