VAT Requirements in Some Countries Require Switch from QuickBooks US to QuickBooks UK

QuickBooks US cannot read a file from Canadian or UK version to handle VAT; files need to be converted to the UK/Canadian version to handle VAT

Brandon, MB -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/04/2019 -- Many businesses that are using accounting software that cannot handle the UAE VAT structure, according to leading QuickBooks file repair and data conversion provider E-Tech.

Value Added Tax or VAT is a tax on the consumption or use of goods and services levied at each point of sale. VAT is a form of indirect tax and is used in more than 180 countries around the world. The end-consumer ultimately bears the cost. Businesses collect and account for the tax on behalf of the government.

VAT codes automatically created in QuickBooks Online account ensures all business transactions include a VAT component. At the end of each quarter VAT reports can be viewed. Other features include the option to record sales by Emirates and exchange rates on invoices are automatically displayed.

The US version of Quickbooks currently does not handle VAT, requiring data files to be converted to the UK version to handle VAT filings. "Due to some region specific features, the QuickBooks Online US version doesn't have the option to track VAT. It only is able to manage the US Sales taxes," Tyler Smith, Project Manager at E-Tech said.

QuickBooks' UK Version has 3 Editions, Quickbooks PRO Accounting Software 2017, QuickBooks Premier Accounting Software 2017 and Quickbooks Accountant Software Desktop Version.

"Migrating from the US version to the UK version was done without any hassle and took away the trouble of processing VAT. I can now handle VAT in Quickbooks and this makes business so much easier," A. Jaya said of E-tech's conversion service.

E-Tech offers a seamless conversion services from one international version of QuickBooks to another, whereby the nationality of QuickBooks is modified to bring both versions into sync. For more details, visit https://quickbooksrepairpro.com/Quickbooks-US-to-UK-for-VAT.aspx
