This project will introduce a website enabling runners to host each other for free by enabling them to list whichever form of accommodation they have available, from a spare mattress on the floor, a camping spot on the lawn to a room in the house. What makes this site even more remarkable is the ability for runners to 'pay it forward' into the running community in any way that they can, by providing functionality to list unused gear, race entries they are no longer able to use and simple but essential things like a ride to a race.
The creator of this remarkable project has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter and is welcoming any contribution by making pledges and donations.

Anna is the CEO and Founder of GetToTheStart, a Sydney-based startup that focuses on accommodation options in proximity to the start line of events.
According to Anna, WannaRun is the 'free Airbnb, Facebook and Gumtree/Craigslist', which is centred around the theme of 'paying it forward' back into the global running community. With a highly automated system, users will be able to do the following upon launch:
- List as hosts to host runners for races
- List as runners to find hosts for races
- List unused gear for free to other runners
- List unused entries for substitution
- List offers and requests for assistance in the form of rides to races etc.
