Kingston, WA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/10/2014 -- Dragonfly farms. Owner Heidi Kaster has created small enclosed gardens where one can lose oneself from the world and where hummingbirds and dragonflies abound. Which is why their motto is that at 'Dragonfly Farms, Abnormality is the Normality'.

With that scenic get away from it all feel, Heidi felt the next step was to build permanent structures for people to come and hold weddings, family unions, church retreats and more. What Heidi found out was that having a place to hold events was not the hard part. The hard part was going to come from the County in which the garden is situated. The county permit fees for the building and wedding permits and architectural blueprints for the building will cost up to $15,000.00 to acquire.

The proposed Events center will contain a decorative fire pit, a twinkle tree arbor for marrying couples under and a wood building made out of timber logs and recycled metal pieces and using old pulleys and tables made out of gears. The arbor made by Ray Hammar will be made out of old cable that ran underwater from Port Angeles to Canada. He will be bending it into big twinkle trees that will be about 15 feet tall with lots of twinkle lights on them. There will be a water feature and a burn pit that will be made out of the cones that are in big rock crushers. One at the nursery right now is 6' across.

Angel investors helping fund the Dragonfly Farms Events Center campaign to the next level will be eligible for perks such as thank yous, raffle tickets to summer party, frame-able cards by photographer Terry Moymont, custom T-shirts, custom hoodies, frame-able Northwest or European garden photos by photographer Terry Moymont, mini twinkle trees by Ray Hammar, donor name burned into log structure and much, much more.
