Montoursville, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/06/2014 -- The Swarovski binoculars new and improved EL binoculars included a molded carry case that is padded. It is similar to the carry case of notebook computers. It is a two-zipper pulls and a finger-pull to open the case. Made of nylon, the exterior is tough and the front lining is thinner. The compartment for the binoculars has a velour-like lining to protect the instrument. A ripstop nylon pocket is also there against the front of the case, which is ideal for local bird list or guide. There is also enough room for a thin pair of gloves between the mesh bag area and the front pocket, especially suitable for those chilly days where it is inevitable to find anything without binoculars.

Equipment Protecting Binoculars:

A neck strap attached to the lugs on the sides of the Swarovski EL binoculars which has a wide (1.6in/4cm), soft, neoprene-like cushioned area that soften the weight of the instrument on the neck. At the end of the cushioned component are devices that adjusts the neck strap quickly and easily. The rain guard has equipments for using the neck strap on both sides that makes it easier to slide. The rain guard is made of durable plastic with a soft touch that feels like rubber. The three elements that covers these binoculars are a circular cover for each ocular and third for the hinge and covers for the focus wheel.

One can also use the Swarovski Bino Suspender an option available for all EL models. It is actually a two piece of black nylon webbing about 2.7in/6.5cm long and 0.5in/1cm wide. They have metal-reinforced eyes at both ends with a split ring already in the eyes at one end. These are provided for convenience in attaching the instrument to the suspender or harness. A nylon web belt is also provided to attach the sides of the case using quick release fasteners so that one can carry the case around the waist. This is something that goes beyond the loop sewn on the back provided by most binocular cases.

Lastly, a sharp shot adapter is also provided that allows the Swarovski EL binocular user to perfectly align a digital camera with one barrel of the binocular. This device is actually slides over one of the eyecups and adjustable with the diameter of the camera’s lens housing.
