Phoenix, AZ -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/07/2015 -- An Indiegogo campaign has been launched to raise funds for the development of Whopple.com, a new and rewarding social sharing network designed to financially benefit its members. The platform allows social media users to capitalize on their activity through a unique sponsorship network. Users have the opportunity to not only engage with sub-sites that feature content of interest, but also sponsor them.

To join, users sign up at Whopple.com and choose a unique name for their site. It is recommended, but not required, that users build sites that are theme-specific. Once their site is established, they can begin sharing and finding other sites on topics of interest which they can request to sponsor. Users are allowed to sponsor up to six sites per every one site that they build.

Paid Whipple.com users participate in the platform's sponsorship network starting at $25 per month with the basic package. This level is geared towards the every day social sharing person and includes the ability to import RSS feeds of their favorite news feeds and social feeds as posts on their website. The package also gives them access to a blogging platform powered by WordPress, a question and answer application, Wiki pages and a custom post type creator.

A business package is available for $250 per month and includes all of the tools featured in the basic package, plus tools for running a niche commerce website. Business package tools include a shopping cart system and store builder, membership manager, classified ads application, appointment management application, fundraiser application, job and freelance work posting application and professional and business profile publishing.

Free, affiliate-only packages are available for users who don't want to participate in the sponsorship network but still enjoy the fun of Whopple.com. They have the ability to earn a reoccurring affiliate commission on members they refer to the website.

The founder of Whopple.com has established a crowdfunding goal of $25,000 primarily to support the cost of hosting a high traffic social media network. A portion of the funds raised will also be invested in marketing and graphic design.

Contributions of $1 or more will be rewarded. Perks include a shout out on the company's Facebook community page, early adapter status, which includes an increase in sponsorship bonus earnings and affiliate earnings, handwritten thank you notes, bumper stickers, discounts on monthly membership fees, placement on a special curated page, and official t-shirts and badges.
