The company is currently working with property owners who have wind-damaged roofs. Mr. Thompson said he works with the property owner to make sure the insurance company gives the owner a fair deal on repair and replacement.

"We work for you, not the insurance company," he said. "We're going to make sure that you get a fair settlement and you get a roof that won't leak. A lot of people are moving to metal roofs because of the longevity, but we are recommending a new asphalt shingle that can survive 100 mile-an-hour winds. Hurricane Matthew won't be the last time we get pounded by severe weather."

The company also offers siding work, repair and installation of new siding.

"When people think about siding, they think vinyl. We have that and more. We have insulated siding; this has insulation attached to the siding for a lasting fit. We also have fiber cement siding. This mix of sand and cement can be painted and it's a lot tougher than traditional vinyl siding," he said. "If you need a new look to the outside of your building, we're ready to work for you.
