Wire Technologies Announces CNC Turning Capabilities at South Florida Machine Shop

Boca Raton, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/22/2014 -- As the demand for precision turned parts is escalating, Wire Technologies is announcing they have added new machines to their South Florida machine shop that allow for CNC turning capabilities to be completed. CNC turning is a manufacturing process that uses computer controlled operations to remove material from a design in order to create a specified shape. As one of the trusted precision machine shops in South Florida for EDM wire cutting and machining, the new turning capabilities for CNC machining has converted Wire Technologies into a one-stop shop for all machining needs.

With advanced machinery and tools, their CNC machines effectively reduce cycle times. Inside the state-of-the-art facility, Wire Technologies features a Milltronics RW15 CNC Mill, an HAAS TM2 CNC Mill, and an HAAS ST-10T CNC Lathe in its arsenal. The smallest of the three, Milltronics RW15 CNC Mill, operates on a standard 8000 RPM spindle and 12/10 HP standard spindle motor. The newest of the three, HAAS ST-10T CNC Lathe, is equipped with a 12-station BOT turret and a 6000 RPM spindle. This product utilizes a dual axis of movement for the fabrication of multiple shapes.

In addition to their CNC turning and vertical capabilities, Wire Technologies creates digital prototypes as one of the respected 3D printing companies in South Florida. When needing a prototype, customers can look at the design and get a feel for the product in 3D. The parts produced are low resolution and high quality.
