Deerfield Beach, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/23/2013 -- Football fans all over the world will unite once again on the opening of the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil. With opening matches set on June 12, 2014 to be held at Sao Paulo and 11 other cities, people are already lining up at ticketing agencies for the best bargain deals on World Cup 2014 packages.

Experts expect airline prices for flight to Brazil to increase significantly as the World Cup nears. In fact, FIFA has already unveiled the tentative match schedules and has started selling tickets as early as August 20 this year.

With FIFA setting up only 3 sales phases until the event, World Cup Brazil packages remain highly coveted among sports fans around the world. The currently ongoing first phase is set to conclude on November 28. The next phase starts on December 8 and ends on January 30, 2014.

For both sales phases, the first round of reservations is mainly processed through a random selection draw, which means that only a select handful will actually get their tickets during this round. Meanwhile, the second round will be a “first come, first served” basis so last-minute bookers might not be accommodated for this phase.

On the other hand, the last sales phase of the World Cup 2014 ticket s is set on April 15 to July 13 next year. This phase is meant to cater to last-minute purchasers (mostly through the internet and other resellers) for tickets to specific matches, and will only include a limited number of tickets.

Because of the high demand for tickets, World Cup fans are reminded to book their flights and World Cup tickets early. Early birds will also get a chance to tour Brazil before the highly-anticipated FIFA World Cup 2014 final which will be hosted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
