American Holistic Nurses Association Hosts Brian Luke Seaward Workshop on Holistic Stress Management at Annual Conference

Topeka, KS -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/29/2014 -- The American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) will be hosting a presentation entitled “Holistic Stress Management,” on Sunday June 8, 2014 from 1:30-5:30 p.m. at its 34th annual conference in Portland, Oregon. This will be the fourth in a series at the June conference.

This dynamic educational lecture and workshop has been developed to demonstrate effective coping and relaxation techniques that integrate, balance, and harmonize the mind, body, spirit, and emotions. The program will provide attendees with a user-friendly approach to managing stress without the use of drugs.

“We seek to unify the healing powers of both the conscious and unconscious minds, harnessing them to calm a range of issues that conflict everyone regardless of age, race, gender, religion, or profession,” says AHNA President Dr. Peggy Burkhardt.

Taught by internationally renowned lecturer and noted educator Brian Luke Seaward, this half-day seminar is guaranteed to deliver hands-on learning and stress-reduction opportunities that encourage personal growth and professional development using experiential learning strategies, images, music, and film.

Mr. Seaward’s presentations foster balance and calm by implementing:

Seward’s half-day presentation will be held immediately after the formal ending of AHNA’s international conference workshop being held at the Portland (OR) Marriott Downtown Waterford hotel.

AHNA’s Education Provider Committee is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Credentialing Center’s COA.
