New Market Study Published: ATM Cards in Austria
Cash continued as the main form of payment in Austria in 2011, in accounting for an 80% of total transactions. Since Austria's population is ageing, it is likely that large parts of the population, especially in rural areas, had doubts about the security, ease-of-use and traceability of card payments.
