New Market Study Published: Tea in Ecuador
While tea is not the most important category within hot drinks, the review period saw its prominence grow on the shelves of modern grocery retailers such as supermarkets and hypermarkets. Sources point out that the shelf space for displaying tea in these channels amounted to three metres 10 years ago, yet it amounted to 10m at the end of the review period, reflecting the growing interest in tea amongst consumers and retailers.
