"Smokeless Tobacco in Singapore" Now Available at Fast Market Research
Under the Control of Advertisements and Sales of Tobacco Act, smokeless tobacco has been banned in Singapore since 2003. In July 2010, the Act was amended to extend the ban to include alternative tobacco and nicotine products that are available in other countries. These include snus, electric cigarettes, and tobacco substitutes like nicotine water, as well as fruit and candy-flavoured cigarettes which are targeted at the young. Therefore, there is no market for smokeless tobacco in Singapore.
