Cotton wool/buds/pads saw volume sales growth drop dramatically in 2011 to just over 1%, in comparison to a review period CAGR of 4%. While rising economic confidence in the year benefited many areas in tissue and hygiene, this trend proved less beneficial for cotton wool/buds/pads.
