Now Available: Pasta in Guatemala
In 2012 pasta saw 12% current value growth to reach GTQ250 million. At the end of the review period dried pasta remained virtually the only product in the category. Guatemala's low per capita consumption of 1.5kg per person per year is among the lowest in Latin America. Mexico has per capita consumption of 2.8kg, while the average in Latin America is 4kg; this indicates that there is still room for growth in Guatemala.
