During 2012, there was a noticeable trend towards smaller cigars and flavoured cigars. Furthermore, smaller cigar pack sizes emerged over 2011. Flavoured cigars were particularly popular with female consumers, and those consumers switching from cigarettes to cigars. Flavours included bourbon, beer, mocha and rum.
