Large cooking appliances saw negative growth in volume and current value terms in 2012, with 5% and 1% decreases, respectively. This reduction was a marked difference from the dynamic growth seen in 2011 and 2010 when, due to economic recovery and the need to replace appliances after the earthquake, it achieved growth rates of 23% in volume terms and 54% in current value terms.
