Growth in vending was constrained at the end of the review period by ongoing development in other retailing channels. There was for example, 24% outlet volume growth in convenience stores during the review period and 5% growth in 2012 over the previous year, while chained forecourt retailers expanded by 90% and 15% respectively. These outlets offer a wide range of soft drinks and snacks in convenient locations.
