The review period saw the majority of employers using salary cards to deposit wages directly into employees' accounts. On the whole, this applies to companies employing over 100 individuals although the practice extends beyond Russia's major cities into more remote regions; this led to a situation where 90% of ATM cards comprised salary cards.
