Recent Study: Nappies/Diapers/Pants in Spain
In the last two years the birth rate in Spain underwent a negative trend, which has no prospects of changing in the next 2-3 years. High rates of unemployment and an uncertain socio-economic situation discouraged Spanish families from having children. Nevertheless, the fall in the birth rate was partly compensated by newborns in immigrant communities.
