Home Care in Argentina: New Research Report Available at Fast Market Research
Private label's value share in home care grew over 2010-2012 after inflationary pressure accelerated, putting downward pressure on consumer purchasing power. Inflation has been accelerating at a rate above salary increases over the review period but especially in the last two years, 2011 and 2012. As purchasing power stagnated and even began to decline, private label found an increasing demand coming from consumers trading down from second-tier brands.
