Israeli consumers lack education regarding the differences between the most popular cosmetic mouth washes. Although colourful and highly visible cosmetic mouth washes are available OTC, and located next to dental products on retailer shelves produced by the same well-known companies, generally mouth care products are available behind the counter in Israel and are not in demand unless prescribed by a doctor for a specific problem.
