The overall growth of oral care in Macedonia is highly dependent on performance of the two largest oral care categories, toothpaste and toothbrushes, both of which belong to the group of essential (daily use) products. Toothpaste and toothbrushes dominate oral care, combined accounting for 86% of the overall oral care value sales in 2012. Toothpastes alone accounted for an overwhelming 70% of the 2012 total oral care value sales.
