Recent Study: Leisure and Personal Goods Specialist Retailers in Japan
Value sales of leisure and personal goods specialist retailers declined by less than 1% in 2012. With slow economic recovery, consumers continued to economise over the review period. Although jewellery and watch specialist retailers demonstrated strong growth, underperformance of media products stores and stationers/office supply stores negatively affected the aggregate sales of leisure and personal goods specialist retailers in 2012.
