New Report Available: Footwear in Spain
Spanish consumers, having been hit hard with difficult economic conditions, have cut back on the purchase of footwear with volume sales declining by around 3% in 2012. That said, the increase in the range of low-cost shoes, from main brands such as Marypaz, Wonders, Deichmann, Merkal and Tino Gonzales, as well as Zara, H&M and Mango has helped to limit the decline in volume sales, but resulted in a slightly stronger decline in value sales of -4% in 2012.
