Now Available: Small Cooking Appliances in Israel
Sales of small cooking appliances were driven in 2012 by the major shift to smaller household sizes, mainly in Israeli cities. Many consumers living alone are concerned about rising living costs and low incomes. They preferred small over large appliances for cooking at home. These lower-priced products offer significant cost savings. For example, in 2012 the average unit price of mini ovens and freestanding hobs was NIS309.00 and NIS194.00, respectively.
