Recent Study: Small Kitchen Appliances (Non-Cooking) in the Netherlands
Small kitchen appliances continued to suffer from declining demand in 2012 and remained a small niche category, especially in value terms. Main reason for the decline in volume was the fact that Dutch consumers simply use these appliances less, and in most cases these appliances do not lend themselves to being turned into designer objects that can command a high average unit price.
