Laundry Care in Peru - New Study Released
In 2012, laundry care grew by 9% in current value terms and laundry detergents continued to be the most significant category, accounting for 92% of overall sales and recording growth of 7% in current value terms. Categories that posted the highest current value growth compared with the previous year were fabric softeners (with 29%), spot and stain removers (23%) and laundry aids (with 22%). These are sophisticated products that consumers start to use when their purchasing power improves.
