Surface care stagnated in retail volume terms of 2012.. Current value sales increased by 2%, pushed mostly by increased unit prices of some subcategories such as Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaners. Availability of Surface care products specialising in certain part of household or type of surface is increasing, new products are little bit more elaborate and more specialised, promising to clean perfectly particular surface and thus also asking customer to pay little bit more for the better quality.
