Volume sales were driven primarily by population growth in 2012 whereas value growth was driven by increasing demand for more eco-friendly and sustainable products which tend to carry a price premium. Norway's population increased by 7% over the review period. This growth fuelled sales within retail tissue, especially toilet paper, boxed and pocket tissues.
