New Market Study, "Sports Nutrition in the United Kingdom", Has Been Published
Sports nutrition increased by a healthy 16% in current value terms in 2012, to reach GBP260 million. Brand activities aimed at popularising the category beyond its core group of committed gym-goers and an expansion of the offering on the shelves of multiples is paying off, with rapid sales growth. This positive performance followed the positive trend of the review period, which saw a CAGR of 18% in the period 2007-2012.
