Beer in Macedonia - New Report Available
Early in the review period, the Macedonian government amended the legislation regulating the retail sale of alcoholic drinks. Legislative amendments required all off-trade retailers to obtain a special licence to sell alcohol, and prohibited certain types of retailers from selling alcoholic drinks altogether, including forecourt retailers, open market traders and 24-hour outlets.
