Tourism Flows Inbound in Colombia - New Report Available
Colombia's tourism industry is continuing its strong growth trend, turning the country into a top destination within the region. Between 2007 and 2012, the number of incoming tourists increased at a CAGR of 7% thanks to national security improvements, growing infrastructure, increased airline connectivity and a rise in foreign direct investment. Colombia even managed to fare well during the global economic downturn, dropping to 2.2% growth in 2008 and recovering to reach 10.8% growth by 2009.
