Sets/kits grew up until 2011 in volume sales, finding ground as a good value-for-money option against single products in categories like fragrances, colour cosmetics and skin care. The continuous decline in disposable incomes however did not leave any room for development in 2012. Consumers massively abandoned products of secondary importance (especially fragrances and colour cosmetics that are frequently promoted in kits) hence leading to negative growth for sets/kits.
