New Market Study, "Hot Drinks in Singapore", Has Been Published
The hot drinks category showed positive value growth in 2012. This was largely driven by consumers learning about tea- and coffee-drinking cultures. Through travel and the local proliferation of foodservice outlets, particularly speciality tea and coffee lounges, consumers are willing to pay higher prices to enjoy better quality hot drinks. Manufacturers have also continued to launch new products, with a focus on new flavours as well as products with added nutrients or energy boosters.
